Genesis 18: Abraham's Three Visitors

1 Then the LORD appeared to Abraham at the oaks of Mamre while he was sitting in the entrance of his tent during the heat of the day. 2 He looked up, and he saw three men standing near him.

The Lord appeared before Abraham in his physical form. I'm not sure why it says there were three men, it's not too clear about that. When he sees the Lord, he asks Him not to leave. Abraham asks the Lord to wait for him to fetch water so the Lord can wash his feet and rest, and bread to eat. He tells them after this, they may continue on to wherever they were going. Verse 5 they said "Yes, do as you have said".

Then Abraham ran to his tent and told his wife to quickly cook up some bread. Then he picks a choice calf and tells one of his men to prepare it. Verse 8 "Then Abraham took curds and milk, and the calf that he had prepared, and set [them] before the men. He served them as they ate under the tree". Abraham was very hospitable to his guests, and one of them was the Lord.
