Genesis 5: The Line of Seth

1 These are the family records of the descendants of Adam. On the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God; 2 He created them male and female. When they were created, He blessed them and called them man.
A good chunk of the passage, verse 3-25, talks about Adam's descendants, how old they were when they fathered a child, and how old they were when they died. Most of these men lived long lives, over 900 years! The only exception was for Enoch, whose life only lasted 365 years, verse 24 "Enoch walked with God, and he was not there, because God took him". I believe that when it says that 'Enoch walked with God', it means that Enoch called on God, talked to Him daily, and did not forget that God is almighty. Therefore, God wanted Enoch to be with Him, instead of on Earth.

Verse 28-32 talks about the birth of Noah. When Lamech's wife gave birth to Noah, Lamech says in verse 29, "This one will bring us relief from the agonizing labor of our hands, caused by the ground the LORD has cursed". Lamech lived 777 years on earth.

In verse 32, Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth when he was 500 years old.
